Last Lesson of the year!

So the Arts Bridge program has come to an end. I had the most wonderful experience on my last day teaching. There was a new student from Venezuela who didn't speak english. So, I spoke spanish with her to explain her the assginment! Then, while the little girls were doing the assignment I went and talk with them and they showed me a sketchbook were they draw dresses everyday. They asked me to draw a face for one of the dress and then they said: This is going to be our special dress. I feel extremely blessed for the opportunity I had to inspire this children to do art. I feel like as a teacher, throughout the year, my only goal was to inspire my children to love art and to know that being a professional artist is all about having fun!.

I'm really grateful for the opportunity to have this fifth grade class. I loved it!.
